Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MyMagicDocs ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

MyMagicDocs is a document automation platform that allows you to upload template documents with placeholders, fill in values, and generate personalized documents. We provide:

• Automatic placeholder detection in documents
• Dynamic form generation for data entry
• Document processing and generation
• Multiple subscription tiers with varying usage limits

Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Register using a valid Google account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Subscription Tiers and Billing

Free Tier

Limited to 3 documents per month with watermarked PDF output.

Paid Tiers

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and provide:

• Personal ($9/month): 25 documents/month, original DOCX output
• Professional ($29/month): 100 documents/month, bulk processing

Billing Terms

• All fees are in USD and charged monthly
• Payment is processed via Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
• Usage limits reset on the first day of each billing cycle
• No refunds for partial months (see Refund Policy)

Usage Limits and Fair Use

Your subscription tier determines your monthly document processing limit. You agree to:

• Not exceed your tier's monthly document limit
• Use the Service for legitimate business or personal purposes only
• Not abuse, exploit, or overload our infrastructure
• Not attempt to circumvent usage restrictions

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Process illegal, harmful, or fraudulent documents
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Reverse engineer or attempt to hack the Service

Your Content and Documents

Your Ownership

You retain all rights to the documents you upload and process through our Service. We claim no ownership of your content.

Our Processing Rights

By uploading documents, you grant us a temporary, limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates immediately after your document is processed and downloaded.

No Permanent Storage

We do not permanently store your documents. All documents are processed in memory and immediately deleted after generation. We only retain usage metadata (document names, processing timestamps) for billing and analytics.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• The content and accuracy of documents you upload
• Ensuring you have rights to process the documents
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Backing up your important documents

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by MyMagicDocs and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Service availability at all times
• That defects will be corrected immediately
• Compatibility with all document formats or devices

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with or without notice.

Account Termination

Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until then.

Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or overload the Service
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MyMagicDocs SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyMagicDocs from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your documents, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MyMagicDocs
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent
