30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

First-time subscribers are protected by our 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you're not satisfied with MyMagicDocs within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, we'll refund your payment in full—no questions asked.

Eligibility

  • Applies to your first subscription only (Personal or Professional tier)
  • Must request refund within 30 days of initial payment
  • Valid for one refund per customer

How to Request

Email support@mymagicdocs.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Include your account email address and reason for the refund request (optional).

Subscription Renewals

After the initial 30-day period, subscription renewals are non-refundable. However, you can:

  • Cancel anytime: Access your subscription through the end of the current billing period
  • Downgrade: Switch to a lower tier at your next billing date
  • Pause: Cancel and resubscribe later without losing your account

Pro-Rated Refunds

We generally do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months. However, we may consider exceptions in the following circumstances:

  • Service outage: Extended downtime preventing normal use
  • Billing errors: Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
  • Technical issues: Critical bugs preventing core functionality

Free Tier

The free tier does not involve payment and therefore refunds do not apply. You may use the free tier indefinitely or upgrade at any time.

Refund Processing

Timeframe

  • Refund requests are typically processed within 5 business days
  • Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method
  • It may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Payment Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card) used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.

Account Status After Refund

Upon receiving a refund:

  • Your paid subscription will be canceled immediately
  • Your account will be downgraded to the free tier
  • You'll lose access to paid features (no watermark, higher limits)
  • Your account and data remain intact—you can upgrade again anytime

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks can result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Additional fees passed to you
  • Inability to use the service in the future

Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through our support team.

Subscription Changes

Upgrades

When upgrading from Personal to Professional mid-cycle, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing period at the new tier rate.

Downgrades

When downgrading, the change takes effect at your next billing date. You retain access to your current tier's features until then. No refunds are issued for unused time at the higher tier.

Exceptions and Special Cases

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis, particularly for:

  • Extenuating personal circumstances
  • Service failures on our part
  • Long-term, loyal customers
  • Good-faith errors or misunderstandings
